Tiffany Anderson

USC Upstate Class of 1993
Tiffany is in her 28th year of teaching in Spartanburg District 7. Her career began at Mary H. Wright Elementary, where she spent 13 years teaching K-4. She has been teaching second grade at Pine Street Elementary School for the last 10 years.

Leslie Borton

USC Upstate Class of 2019
Leslie is a former stay-at-home mom who decided to get back into teaching fairly recently and has made a huge impact already. She received her degree in visual impairment program, and is currently the lead teacher at the South Carolina School for the Blind.

Jeri Hollis

USC Upstate Class of 2000
Jeri started her career in publishing before returning to her home state to teach. She currently teaches both honors and college preparatory English II and English IV at James F. Byrnes High School. Hollis has been at Byrnes for 20 years and serves on several committees.

Michelle Monroe

USC Upstate Class of 2011
Michelle has taught several subjects in Upstate elementary schools over the past 11 years. She spent five years as a reading interventionist and fourth-grade teacher at East North Street Academy in Greenville before moving to Spartanburg to teach fourth grade at Cooley Springs-Fingerville Elementary.

Joanna Vaughn

USC Upstate Class of 2001
Joanna began her career in education as a kindergarten teaching assistant for two years. She returned to Upstate in 2002 to obtain her master’s in early childhood education. Vaughn has since spent 20 years teaching kindergarten in Spartanburg District 1.

Tara Williamson

USC Upstate Class of 2002
Tara started her career in Spartanburg District 1. She began as a volunteer in her daughter Abigail’s classroom at Spartanburg Preparatory School in 2014. Williamson fell in love with the school, got her recertification in 2017 and has since taught first, second and fifth grade.
