In early spring 2024, the university will break ground on an annex to the 46-year-old building that will provide modernized multipurpose spaces for classes or meetings and potentially student support services. The 22,000-square-foot facility will be built adjacent to the Library, and is being funded by monies approved by the state legislature in fiscal years 2022 and 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The second floor of the Library will also be renovated as part of the process. Existing rooms will be repurposed for the university archives, study rooms, and a digital commons lab.
